Fit can vary by trim, wheel size and build date. Always confirm your model and year on the product listing before you buy.

Will accessories from my old Tesla fit my new one?

Usually not if the part is shaped to the car, such as mats, console trays, screen protectors, roof shades, seat covers, wheel covers, mud flaps and light covers. The Model S/X refresh, Model 3 Highland, Model Y Juniper and Model Y L each changed some of those shapes. Tesla says its J1772 adapter works with all Tesla vehicles. Always check the model and years on the listing.

Fit at a glance

"Yes" means the same part generally carries over. "No" means buy one made for your generation. "Depends" means it depends on the product or your car, so check the listing.

Model S and Model X: pre-2021 vs 2021+

The 2021 refresh of the Model S and Model X brought a new cabin: a 17 inch landscape screen, a new center console, and a yoke steering wheel at launch (a round wheel was offered later). Interior parts made for earlier cars usually do not fit, so check for "2021+" or "2022+" on the listing. Steering wheel covers come in yoke and round versions, so match your wheel.

Model 3 Highland (2024+) vs Model 3 (2017-2023)

Highland redesigned the interior: a new console, dash, floor contours and screen, plus an 8 inch rear screen on Premium and Performance. It also got new headlights and a light bar across the rear. Interior parts, mats, liners and light covers should say Highland or 2024+, and most mud flap kits should too. Charging gear and jack pads usually carry over.

Model Y Juniper (2025+) vs Model Y (2020-2024)

Juniper is the refreshed Model Y. It brought a new console, a new screen, new wheel designs and new lights, including a light bar across the rear. Screen protectors, console trays, storage, roof shades, mud flaps and wheel covers need Juniper listings. Charging gear and jack pads usually carry over, and some windshield shades list both.

Model Y L

Model Y L is the long wheelbase Model Y with up to 6 seats. Tesla lists it at 195.6 inches long, with second row captain's chairs, a third row, a 16 inch center screen, an 8 inch second row screen, and 19 or 20 inch wheels. Some front-cabin parts list Juniper and Model Y L together, like the Spigen XL console tray. Anything shaped to the second row, third row or cargo area needs a Model Y L listing. Few products name it yet, so if a listing does not say Model Y L, assume it does not fit.

Cybertruck

Cybertruck is built differently from the other Teslas, so only buy interior, bed and exterior parts that name Cybertruck. Tesla lists an 18.5 inch center screen and 20 inch wheels (18 or 20 inch on Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive). For charging, Tesla says its J1772 adapter works with all Tesla vehicles, but its own CCS1 adapter is not compatible with Cybertruck. Some third-party CCS1 adapters list Cybertruck support.

By accessory type

Screen protectors

No between generations. Buy one that names your car and years.

Center console organizers

No between generations. Some Highland and Juniper trays share one listing.

Floor and trunk storage

Usually no. Cargo liners, trunk bins and under-seat boxes are shaped to one body and seat layout.

FAQ

Do Model 3 accessories fit the Model 3 Highland?

Mostly no for anything shaped to the car. Highland redesigned the console, dash, floor, screen and lights, so mats, organizers, screen protectors and light covers need Highland listings, and most mud flap kits do too. Charging adapters and jack pads usually carry over.

Do 2020-2024 Model Y accessories fit the Model Y Juniper?

Shaped parts generally do not fit. Juniper changed the console, screen, wheels and lights. Charging gear, jack pads and many universal items still work, and some windshield shades list both.

Do Model Y accessories fit the Model Y L?

Some front-cabin parts list both Juniper and Model Y L, such as the Spigen XL console tray. Anything for the second row, third row or cargo area needs a Model Y L listing, because the car is longer and has captain's chairs.

What size screen protector does my Tesla need?

Buy by car and year range. Model 3 (2017-2023) and Model Y (2020-2024) use a 15 inch screen. Tesla lists a 16 inch center screen on current Model 3, Model Y and Model Y L, and some brands call the Highland and Juniper screen 15.4 inch, so match the listing to your car. Model S and Model X use 17 inch (portrait before 2021, landscape after), and Cybertruck uses 18.5 inch.

Does the Tesla CCS1 adapter work with Cybertruck?

No. Tesla says its CCS Combo 1 adapter is not compatible with Cybertruck. Some third-party CCS1 adapters list Cybertruck, so check the listing.

Does the J1772 adapter work on every Tesla?

Yes. Tesla says its J1772 adapter is compatible with all Tesla vehicles and is included with every Tesla vehicle delivery.
